Discount Levels and Downline Commissions Earned by Herbalife Distributors
There are 4 discount levels for Herbalife Independent Distributor. One starts with a 25% discount and can go up to 50% once he/she become a Supervisor. Your discount level depends on the volume of your and your downline orders over a certain period of time. Herbalife use volume points (VP) for each product. When you or your downline order a product you gain a certain amount of VP.

Here are the 4 discount levels and the minimum VP necessary to reach them:
- 25% Distributor. As soon as you join Herbalife as a distributor you start with a 25% discount on all your orders and this is the minimum discount you will get for as long as you keep your membership active. You will basically earn 25% when you resell Herbalife products at retail price.
- 35% Senior Consultant. When you reach 500 VP (both from your direct orders or those of your downline) you will get a 35% discount on all your orders allowing you to keep a larger profit when you resell the products.
- 42% Success Builder or Qualified Producer. There are two ways to achieve a 42% discount level. You can do it by placing a single order of 1,000 VP and become a Success Builder. In this way you will get a 42% for all your orders for the rest of the month. You can also get the same discount by accumulation 2,500 VP (from your own orders and those of your downline) in 1 to 3 months.
- 50% Supervisor. You will become a Supervisor and get a 50% discount when you reach 5,000 personal VP (orders placed by you not your downline) over 12 months or 4,000 VP in one month or 2,500 VP in two consecutive months (both your orders and those of your downline).
As a distributor yo will also earn commissions on all orders of your downline members that are at a lower discount level than you. For example, if you are at a 35% discount level and a new distributor sign up under you, they will start at 25% and you will earn 10% (difference from your discount level and his) till he moves to the same discount level as you.
Distributors also earn royalties on the volume of the supervisors on their downline.
